Account Deletion Request Process

Users who wish to delete their accounts from the Carpe Diem App can do so by following the steps outlined below: Sending an Email: Users are required to send an email to from the email address associated with their Carpe Diem account. The subject line of the email should be "Account Deletion Request." Account Verification: For security purposes and to prevent unauthorized account deletion requests, our team will review the account deletion email request. We may ask for additional verification information to confirm the identity of the requester. Confirmation Email: Once the account deletion request is approved and verified, a confirmation email will be sent to the user. This email will contain information about the scheduled account deletion and any associated actions, such as data removal and access revocation. Account Deletion: After receiving the confirmation email, the user's account data will be queued for deletion. The account and associated data will be permanently removed from our systems within 10 business days. Please note that certain data retention obligations might apply as per applicable laws and regulations.

Important Considerations

Account deletion is an irreversible process. Once an account is deleted, all data associated with that account will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Users are responsible for ensuring that they have retrieved any important data, content, or information from their account before requesting deletion, as recovery after deletion will not be possible.
